Tadelech

Tadelech’s father died while she was in Grade 6 and her mother died two years after him. She has a sister and a brother - her sister lives with her grandmother in the countryside, and her brother lives with her stepmother. The death of her parents hurts her still and her relationship with her grandmother is not always good. She was especially close to her father and misses him greatly.  

Tadelech says: ”I now live in the JoyCenter and I’m a grade 9 student. I am not happy I did but I had to repeat grade nine since I didn’t learn anything because of some problem. I am really happy at the JoyCenter. I have good mothers and sisters. It has also helped me know many people. My desire for the future is to bring my sister and let her live with me, to take care of her and help her succeed in life.”
