Youth impact Ethiopia (also known as youth corps) is an indigenous, faith-based organization registered under the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice. The main goal of Youth Impact is to alleviate some of the problems the youth face in Ethiopia today and to enable them to become God-fearing, responsible leaders who will determine the destiny of their nation. The core emphasis of the ministry is character development, and the basis for the character development is Jesus and his universal principles. Youth impact Ethiopia gains its inspiration from Jesus’ model of indiscriminate love, compassion, forgiveness and reconciliation. We consider Jesus Christ as the embodiment of the values of right living and the source of universal principles of life. Youth Impact’s overall goal is to serve people, particularly the youth of Ethiopia, in transforming the heart the mind, and the whole person in the knowledge of Jesus and his principles.  The Youth Impact ministry mainly focuses on underprivileged youth, who have very little opportunity and who lack positive influences in life. 

To date over 100 young people have gone through the Youth Mentoring program. In addition to its main Mentoring Center Youth Impact is currently operating three other homes for orphans and for street youth. Out of the trainees, over 50 young people have found full time jobs and are leading a productive life, while 5 are presently going through vocational skill training program.
