The whole philosophy of the ministry is based on the premise that heart transformation precedes a lasting change in the life of an individual. We believe all people need to meet Jesus and experience his transforming love, developing hope, self-worth and a secure future. We believe God’s original purpose for the human race was and still is to have the character and value of Christ. The Bible says that all people, not only believers, possess part of the image of God. But the image is incomplete and has been distorted by sin. God sent Jesus to this earth to restore the full image that we have lost. Through Jesus, God wants his people to be transformed to have His values, attitude, and character. God wants His people to develop the kind of character described in 2 Peter 5-8. It is God’s purpose that the youth today hear this wonderful message, that there is an alternative to the damaging values they encounter in their society today. It is with this inspiration and purpose of mission that Youth Impact attempts to reach the young of Ethiopia.
